Custom Peptide Packaging for New Jersey
A significant share of New Jersey enquiries are for packaging that will be finished by someone else. The carton leaves us plain or lightly printed, and the identity is applied later by a distributor, a repacker or a dispensing pharmacy.
That is a specific design problem, and getting it wrong is expensive — a label that will not stick, or that covers a barcode, is discovered a long way downstream.
Designing a carton to be labelled later
The clear zone is not empty space left over. It is a specified feature with dimensions, a position and a surface finish.
- Sized to the actual label — Measured from the label your customer applies, plus a margin.
- On a flat panel — A label applied across a crease lifts at the fold, every time.
- Matte or uncoated finish — Gloss laminate rejects some adhesives. This is the most common cause of failure.
- Clear of the barcode — So the applied label does not obscure a code that still needs to scan.
- Clear of the glue seam — Which sits slightly proud and prevents a label lying flat.
How plain is worth going
- Fully unprinted — The cheapest option. Kraft or white board, all content applied by label.
- One-colour identification — A product code or brand mark, with everything else applied later.
- Printed structure, blank panel — Full artwork with a defined blank area for the label.
- Two versions of one die line — A printed retail version and a plain trade version from the same tooling.
That last option is worth raising early: sharing a die line between a printed and a plain version avoids paying for tooling twice.
Common New Jersey specifications
- Plain kraft cartons — For trade supply where all content is applied downstream.
- Auto-lock bottoms — Where multi-count cartons carry real weight.
- Uncoated board — Which takes label adhesive most reliably of all.
- Partitioned corrugated cases — For the outer trade unit.

Packaging questions from New Jersey
Do you have a New Jersey facility?
No. We manufacture packaging and ship to New Jersey addresses along with the rest of the country. No local facility, office or team.
Why will our labels not stick to the cartons?
Most often because the area is gloss laminated. Gloss films are designed to resist marking, and they resist adhesive too. A matte or uncoated zone in that position fixes it.
How big should the clear zone be?
The label dimensions plus a few millimetres on each side, so an operator applying it by hand does not have to be precise. Send us the actual label if you can.
Can we order completely unprinted cartons?
Yes, and it is common in this kind of supply. An unprinted kraft or white carton is the lowest-cost route when all content is applied by label anyway.
Can one die line serve a printed and a plain version?
Yes, and it saves paying for tooling twice. Tell us at the start if you expect to need both.
Send us the label you will apply
The most reliable way to design a clear zone is to have the actual label in hand. Post one and we will build the panel around it.
We ship to New Jersey and nationwide. Delivery time depends on the carrier and is not guaranteed.
