How do I choose between a folding carton and a rigid box?
Ask how the box will be used rather than how it should look. A box opened once and discarded is well served by a folding carton. A box opened repeatedly over weeks, or kept by the customer afterwards, justifies rigid construction.

What information do you need to quote?
Vial dimensions or a sample, the number of vials per box, an approximate quantity, and whether the box ships on its own or inside an outer case. Everything else we can propose.
Can one carton design serve two different vial sizes?
Only where the vials share a body diameter and differ in height, in which case a dual-depth insert can seat both. Where the diameters differ, a single cavity will always be too loose for one of them.
How do you decide what board caliper to use?
From the loaded weight, the panel span and how the pack travels. A tall narrow carton needs more caliper than a compact one of the same footprint, and a stacked case needs more than one that travels alone.
Do you design the artwork?
We provide the die line, advise on layout constraints, panel space and legibility, and preflight the file. The design itself comes from you or your designer. Free design support in that sense means structural and production guidance, not graphic design services.

What file format should artwork be supplied in?
Print-ready PDF, built on our supplied die line at 100%, with fonts outlined, images at 300 dpi at final size, 3 mm bleed and any spot colours named explicitly rather than converted.

What is a die line and why must I use yours?
A flat template showing every panel, fold, glue area and bleed edge for your specific box. Redrawing it or scaling it means panels will not line up with the cutting tool, which is the single most common cause of a job being rejected at preflight.
Why do my colours look different on the proof?
Screens emit light and print reflects it, so a perfect match is not possible. What matters is that solid brand colours are specified as spot colours, which removes most of the variability between runs and between substrates.
How many rounds of proofing are included?
We work through revisions until the file is production-ready. Where a change requires new tooling — a different die line, a new foil block — that is a separate cost and we will say so before proceeding.
Do you check my content for accuracy?
No. We check for production issues only. Content accuracy, claims, mandatory statements and regulatory requirements are your responsibility and should be reviewed by someone qualified for your market.

How jobs are made and checked before they ship.
What quality checks do you carry out?
Colour against the approved proof or spot reference, cut and crease position against the die line, insert fit with a real vial, glue seam strength, and counts at packing. Structures that fold or lock are erected and function-tested from the run.
Do you keep a reference sample of my job?
Yes. A retained approved sample is the reference for future runs, which is a more reliable comparison than a proof because it is the actual material.
Can you do transit or temperature testing?
We carry out practical checks on loaded samples and will supply samples in whatever configuration you want to test. Documented certification requires an accredited laboratory testing your final packed configuration, which is outside what we provide.
What happens if a delivery is not right?
Tell us promptly and send photographs. Our approach to remakes and revisions is set out on the refund and revision policy page.

Do you supply vials, closures or product?
No. Every order we ship contains empty packaging components — cartons, boxes, trays, inserts and labels. Nothing else.
Are you affiliated with any pharmaceutical manufacturer?
No. We have no affiliation, endorsement, licence or supply relationship with any pharmaceutical manufacturer or brand owner. Compound names used on this site describe packaging applications only.
Can you tell me whether my product is legal to sell?
No, and we would not attempt to. We are a packaging manufacturer. Legal, regulatory, labelling, testing, storage and distribution obligations relating to your product are entirely yours.
Will you print anything I ask for?
We print artwork customers supply and approve, but we will decline work we consider misleading — for example packaging that implies a regulatory approval that has not been granted. Beyond that, content decisions and their consequences are yours.
